Many dedicated Mac users are looking for the most portable Mac possible and are frustrated that Apple does not have a computer in the “Netbook” category. In many ways, Apple’s iPhone is their netbook equivalent but of course it cannot meet all the needs that a compact but fully featured laptop can offer. Years ago, Apple offered the 12 inch G4 laptop which was loved by many travelers as the perfect Mac laptop. They have since not made a laptop that small.

After the Apple MacBook Air

According to the newspaper all the new models would get a 640 GB hard drive and 8 hours of battery life. There should also be scope for a 248 GB SSD drive. The  new MacBook models have already been launched in March, but delivery problems of Intel’s new i3, i5 and i7 processors to be the reasons why they only released this month .

About hardware, according to the information Quanta and Hon Hai (Foxconn) to be responsible for the production of the new machines, which sounds very realistic, since they already produces Apple’s MacBook models.

Word on the street is that Apple will start accepting pre-orders for the Apple iPad. First generation iPad’s will have couple of stuff missing like a WiFi and 3G. Apple plans to add WiFi and 3G sometime around April of 2010 and assuming at which time they will introduce 2nd and possibly 2rd generation iPad’s.
