Apple CEO Steve Jobs has taken to his iPhone and iPad to respond to several customers’ e-mail messages, according to multiple reports over the past weeks. In at least nine instances so far, Jobs has sent brief replies to customer concerns over the iPhone, the iPad, and MacBook laptops.
In less than two weeks, the CEO of one of the most tight-lipped tech companies to date, used his iPhone and, of course, iPad, to reply to e-mail from a select few customers asking questions about Apple products.
Google has been following me around lately.
I’m not sure if I’ve made one inadvertent comment too many about my liberal lords and masters, but whichever Web page I happen to visit in order to seek some temporary respite from my complicated life, there I find an ad suggesting I should buy a Nexus One.

AdMob, the mobile advertising company Google acquired last November for $750 million, published its latest mobile metrics report this morning and it offers a bit of insight into future iPad purchasing decisions. One in six of the iPhone owners AdMob surveyed say they intend to purchase Apple’s (AAPL) forthcoming iPad slate.

Steve Jobs today revealed the Apple iPad, which for the last several months has been known as the Apple Tablet.
The device, which features ePub ebook access, a 9.7 touchscreen display and iPhone and iPad app support is a cool looking, thin device with a processor built by Apple just for the unit. It also features Google Maps support (satellite and street views which take up the entire display), the ability to sync between Macs and Windows devices and a plethora of other options.

We saw a few tablet-esque devices at CES earlier this month, and they were getting interesting. Then on Wednesday, as expected, Apple threw its “i”-obsessed hat into the ring with the iPad which, as is typical when Apple does something, caused the tech reporting world to go all crazy.
