So, while everyone else is eagerly waiting for the release of Apple’s iPad, us who aren’t really convinced of the iPad’s abilities to walk on water or its promises to cure cancer are looking someplace else. Enter: Microsoft’s Courier. the Courier is being marketed as a “digital journal.” instead of Windows 7, we’re seeing the Courier has the same software that runs Zune HD, Pink, and Windows Mobile 7 Series. It makes sense, really. the iPad uses iPhone OS because full Mac OS X will not work well for touch screen interfaces. and of course Windows 7, with all its touch-screen friendly glory, won’t even give the best user experience.

Even before the oversized iPod Touch iPad was announced we saw tons of slate-style tablets emerge from companies hoping to take a piece of Apple’s pie. The folks at iiView have introduced a new tablet, dubbed the vPad which will come with a 10-inch screen.
In addition to the screen, the vPad will come with an Intel Atom N270 processor and 1GB of RAM, along with a 160GB hard drive. It’ll be running the cheap Starter edition of Windows 7, which is crippled but it runs well on Atom processors and probably saved $75 off the cost of the tablet.

From 329. Review configuration: 630.29
We consumers can be a demanding lot. We want ever more powerful setups in ever smaller packages, and they need to cost less than previous generation products too. The new and stylish Dell Inspiron 11 strives to combine the portability and affordability of a netbook with the computing power of a full-featured laptop. Netbooks are extremely practical and are very fun to use but they are not well suited for handling moderate-to-heavy computing tasks.
