Apple iPad, the product which is just launched, is considered by many as a threat to the Amazon’s Kindle and time only will decide which dominates the market. Based on the purpose for which the two devices have been designed, we must say that both are equally good. But there are some basic differences between iPad and Kindle, which the users need to understand.
So far, the market has been dominated by Amazon and now the announcement of the launch of the new mini device by Apple will certainly will be a threat to Kindle. IPad gains some advantages as it has been designed exclusively for the end user and looks colorful and great. The touch screen and similar functionalities of iPad cannot be compared with the old fashioned Kindle having a black and white screen and less interactive features.

The Macbook Air is possibly the sexiest laptop in the world, even now, years after its launch. Nothing looks quite like it, with the beautiful unibody (yes, it was actually the first unibody laptop from Apple) aluminum construction and sculpted shape. Even after owning it for a while, I still admire the pewter-like finish.
Much has been criticized about the Macbook Air though, with most remarks being about the device lacking an optical drive, its price, or not having much connectivity. Some of the criticism has been directed at the Air being underpowered as well.

The countdown is on. In just another five days on April 3 Apple iPad release will be a reality. Reports say that about 300,000 pre-orders have been accepted by Apple for iPad. Also some reports point out that in only 2 weeks through online pre-booking Apple booked 240,000 pre-orders.
Now what is the reality behind these pre-orders? Some reports are saying that the high number of pre-orders is because of App developers bulk pre-ordering the iPad. But then there is a restriction on the number of devices that a single person can pre-order.

The Macbook Air has been the choice of many a local Chinese netbook factory to base their entry level machines on. These machines have become popular due to there great looks and very affordable prices. Problem is every Chinese clone maker in Shenzhen is making an Air clone and the market has become a little saturated and stale.
Kai Sheng Technology saw this stagnation as a perfect opportunity to move to the next level of Apple knock off with this, their ION 2 powered Macbook Pro clone.
The design is a pure carbon copy of the Macbook Pro’s even down to the use of material (Magnesium alloy in the clones case).
The screen pictured is a 14 inch model, although they do have an 11.6 inch model in the works too.
The planned launch for the Macbook Pro clone mid April (around the same time as the iPad clone posted earlier) Although Kai Sheng hope to attract big brands for bulk sale we’re sure a few will ‘fall off the back of a lorry’ and end up on the net for sale.

As we get closer to the launch date of Apple’s iPad (April 3), I can’t help but ponder how each application I use might translate to the new device.
Games obviously will have a lot more flexibility with the added touch-screen space, and having more available screen room will probably make development of more complex control systems easier. Apps in every category will have a little more processing power to work with, taking away any delays we’ve grown used to on the iPhone and iPod Touch. but another noticeable difference for me is how I look at apps, now that I know the iPad is coming.
